The B-52 is Ray Samuels Audio's fully balanced tube headphone amplifier and full-function stereo preamplifier, using a dual-mono external power supply and hand-matched tube sets across its gain, driver, and headphone-buffer stages. It combines a 12AU7-based balanced preamp section with a four-tube 5687 buffer stage dedicated to headphone amplification, offering simultaneous balanced XLR and 1/4" headphone outputs alongside balanced and single-ended preamp/tape-loop connectivity.
