Schiit Audio
Gungnir 2
Schiit Audio Gungnir 2 is a balanced Multiform™ multibit digital-to-analog converter with coaxial S/PDIF, optical S/PDIF, and two USB inputs, including Unison 384 support up to 32-bit/384 kHz. Its conversion stage uses four Texas Instruments DAC8812C converters and a differential multiplying analog topology based on the AD4898, with an Analog Devices SHARC DSP implementing an 8× oversampling time- and frequency-domain optimized filter or a selectable non-oversampling mode. It provides RCA single-ended and XLR balanced outputs, 2.0 V RMS single-ended or 4.0 V RMS balanced maximum output, 75-ohm output impedance, and modular replaceable DAC/analog and input cards through the Autonomy 2™ architecture.
