Saga 2 is a preamplifier made by Schiit Audio, with four RCA inputs, one XLR output pair, one RCA output pair, selectable passive or active operation, and a headphone output. Its gain stage uses a fully discrete, single-ended Class A, zero-feedback, differential topology with 75V rails; gain is selectable from 1×/2× to 4×/8× for single-ended/balanced connections. Volume is controlled by a 64-step relay-switched attenuator using discrete 0.5% thin-film resistors, and the unit uses a 24VAC/6VAC wall-wart power supply with internal +45V/−28V and 5V/3.3V rails.
