Mimir is a balanced digital-to-analog converter made by Schiit Audio, with Schiit Mesh digital filtering combined with an ES9028 delta-sigma modulator. It includes Unison 384 USB input supporting up to 32-bit/384 kHz, optical and coaxial S/PDIF and AES inputs supporting up to 24-bit/192 kHz, and balanced XLR and single-ended RCA outputs. Its independent analog stages use LME49724 circuitry for balanced output and OPA1656 circuitry for single-ended output, with precision thin-film resistors, film capacitors, and DC coupling; an added Forkbeard module provides digital preamp functions, input selection, volume and balance control, 3-band parametric EQ, loudness, phase inversion, and Mesh/NOS filter switching.
