The Pro-Ject Pre Box RS2 Digital is a DAC, preamplifier, and headphone amplifier manufactured by Pro-Ject Audio Systems. It uses two ESS Sabre ESS9038Q2M DACs in a fully balanced dual-mono topology with separate left- and right-channel signal paths, and provides solid-state and four-tube 6922 dual-triode analog output stages. Inputs include USB supporting up to 32-bit/768kHz PCM and DSD512, I²S-capable HDMI, coaxial and optical S/PDIF, AES/EBU, balanced XLR, unbalanced RCA, and Bluetooth with SBC, AAC, and aptX; it measures 8.1"W × 2.8"H × 8.74"D and weighs 3.77 pounds.
