Head Box S2 Digital
The Pro-Ject Audio Systems Head Box S2 Digital is a headphone amplifier and DAC with a front 6.3 mm headphone output and RCA pre-out. It uses an ESS9038Q2M 32-bit DAC, supports PCM up to 32-bit/768 kHz and DSD256 via USB, and accepts USB-B, coaxial RCA, and optical TOSLink inputs, with five selectable digital filters. Its design includes proprietary clock circuitry, synchronized internal oscillators, double USB-noise filtering, a gold-plated four-layer PCB, and a silver aluminium/metal sandwich casing.
