M700 Amplifier Pair
The PS Audio Stellar M700 is a pair of monaural power amplifiers with zero-loss analog-cell inputs and a MOSFET output stage. Each amplifier provides RCA unbalanced and XLR true-balanced inputs, dual copper-plated binding-post outputs, and 350 W into 8 Ω or 700 W into 4 Ω at 1 kHz and 1% THD; it is stable for musical transients into 2 Ω loads. The design specifies a damping factor greater than 1100 into 8 Ω, less than 0.02% THD at 1 W into 4 Ω, and 30.5 dB gain.
