The PS Audio BHK Mono 600 is a high-power monaural solid-state power amplifier with a vacuum-tube input/rectification stage and a powerful MOSFET output stage. It uses through-hole construction, fully paralleled internal circuitry, balanced XLR and single-ended RCA inputs, and dual copper-plated binding posts; rated output is 600 watts into 8Ω and 1,000 watts into 4Ω, with stability for musical transients into 2Ω loads. The amplifier has a 1.6 kVA power supply with 336,000 µF of capacitance, selectable 26.0/30.5 dB gain, a damping factor of 700, and a specified frequency response of 10 Hz–20 kHz ±0.1 dB and 10 Hz–100 kHz +0.1/−3.0 dB.
