PMG M800 Monoblock
The PS Audio PMG M800 is a high-power monoblock amplifier, sold as a stereo pair, rated at 400 W into 8 Ω, 800 W into 4 Ω, and 1,200 W into 2 Ω at 1 kHz and less than 1% THD. It uses a state-of-the-art active power supply, Darren Myers’ low-feedback current-based output topology, and 50 W of Class A bias, with bandwidth exceeding 500 kHz and a slew rate above 200 V/µs. Connectivity includes balanced XLR and single-ended RCA inputs, with silver-plated binding-post speaker outputs; each amplifier is hand-built in Boulder, Colorado.
