RPM 1 Carbon
The RPM 1 Carbon is a manual belt-drive turntable made by Pro-Ject Audio Systems, with manual 33/45 rpm speed selection. It uses a 300 mm MDF platter, an inverted stainless-steel axle bearing with a ceramic ball, and an outboard 15 V AC motor powered by a DC-driven precision AC generator. Its 8.6-inch S-shaped tonearm is constructed from carbon fibre, aluminium, and resin, with magnetic antiskating and a TPE-damped counterweight; it is available with or without an Ortofon 2M Red cartridge.
