MC Step Up Box DS3 B
The Pro-Ject MC Step Up Box DS3 B is a European-made MC step-up transformer for use with an MM phono preamplifier. It uses Lundahl LL 1678 audio transformers, offers selectable 24 dB or 30 dB gain, and supports single-ended RCA or balanced XLR inputs and outputs with front-panel switching and rear-panel cartridge-impedance adjustment. Specifications include a 10 Hz–55 kHz frequency response (±1 dB), 1:16 and 1:32 transformation ratios, a recommended load of 47 kOhm/100 pF, dimensions of 206 × 79 × 197 mm (209 mm including connectors), and a weight of 1,740 g.
