The Schröder CB-9 is a 9-inch tonearm made by Frank Schröder and featuring a captive-bearing design with magnetically centered, pre-loaded ceramic hybrid bearings. It has 2 mg vertical and 3.5 mg horizontal measured bearing friction, internal magnetic damping for horizontal movement, and eddy-current damping for lateral motion. The arm wand is available in carbon fibre or Kingwood, with 239.3 mm effective length, 222.0 mm pivot-to-spindle distance, 14 g effective mass with the supplied mounting plate, adjustable azimuth and VTA, and a dual-section counterweight with adjustable damping.

Adjustable parameters: VTF VTA Overhang Offset angle Azimuth Anti-skating Frictionless, resonance free magnetic anti-skating up to 2.3 grams. VTF higher tracking forces can be compensated for by exchanging the anti-skating screw, upon request.
Balance characteristics: Neutral balance arm, no change in VTF when altering VTA or record thickness. Internal magnetic damping for the horizontal movement
