The Pro-Ject Audio Systems Signature Tonearm 9" is a single-pivot tonearm with an SME headshell connection and a classic S-shaped tube made from specially damped aluminium. It uses an oil-damped uni-pivot design, a non-magnetic low-resonance construction, azimuth adjustment, and a 12 g diamond-cut aluminium headshell with built-in fingerlift and 1/2-inch cartridge mounting; optional Wood and Carbon headshells weigh 8 g and 10 g, respectively. The tonearm has a 230.0 mm effective length, 212.0 mm mounting distance, 24° offset angle, 18.0 mm overhang, 17.2 g effective mass including the aluminium headshell, a 77 mm counterweight rotation diameter, and a stated 5–23 g cartridge-weight range depending on headshell weight.
