The Pro-Ject Audio Systems Pick it MC9 is a moving-coil phono cartridge designed and assembled in the European Union. It uses a black anodized aluminum body, a Pro-Ject Special Elliptical stylus, a cryogenically treated cantilever, and a Telar 57 pure-iron cross coil with 6N linear-crystal copper winding. Its output is 0.35 mV at 1 kHz, with a 20–20,000 Hz ±1 dB frequency response, 12 µm/mN dynamic compliance, and a recommended tracking force of 1.8 g.
