I-880
The Aavik I-880 is a transistor integrated amplifier made by Aavik Acoustics, rated at 200 W per channel into 8 ohms and 400 W per channel into 4 ohms, with a 155 × 580 × 510 mm footprint and 36 kg weight. Its push-pull output stage operates in class A, using four pairs of Toshiba bipolar transistors per channel driven by lateral Exicon MOSFETs, while four 500 W self-resonant switching power supplies can deliver up to 80 A in total. The enclosure combines steel, tempered glass, titanium, copper, and high-density fiberboard, and the amplifier includes five line inputs, pre and main outputs, and fully analog high-pass/low-pass crossover outputs.
