Optical Box E Phono
The Optical Box E Phono is a Pro-Ject Audio Systems phono preamplifier with A/D conversion for MM cartridges, featuring 1 Phono RCA input, 1 Line In 3.5 mm input, and simultaneous 3.5 mm analogue Line Out and Toslink optical outputs. Its digital conversion operates at 24-bit/96 kHz, with 47 kΩ phono input impedance, 100 pF capacitance, 43 dB phono gain, and RIAA equalisation accuracy within 0.5 dB from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. The housing has internal metal shielding against RF interference and vibrations, and the unit measures 120 × 32 × 100 mm, or 106 mm deep with sockets, and weighs 250 g without its power supply.
