Phono Box
The Pro-Ject Audio Systems Phono Box is an MM/MC phono preamplifier with a line-level output for connection to an amplifier’s AUX or other line input. It uses switch-selectable MM or MC operation, precise RIAA equalisation, low-noise ICs, an ultra-low-impedance output stage, and gold-plated RCA sockets. Specifications include 40 dB MM gain, 60 dB MC gain, 47 kΩ/120 pF MM input impedance, 100 Ω/120 pF MC input impedance, 9.5 V maximum output, and a 20 Hz–20 kHz RIAA accuracy of up to 0.5 dB.
