The Pro-Ject Audio Systems Tube Box E is a tube phono preamplifier for MM and MC cartridges. It uses a fully discrete, dual-mono circuit without operational amplifiers, a FET input stage, two replaceable ECC83 (12AX7A) tubes, and two-part passive/active RIAA equalization. The metal enclosure includes a machined-aluminium front panel and provides selectable input loading, 40–63 dB gain, gold-plated RCA inputs and outputs, and a 20 Hz subsonic filter.
