The Aavik P-880 is a power amplifier made by Aavik, using a non-switching pure Class A topology with a specified output of 2 × 250 W into 8 ohms and 2 × 500 W into 4 ohms, and THD below 0.007% at 10 W, 1 kHz, and 8 ohms. It uses four 500 W power-factor-corrected resonant-mode power supplies, eight pairs of output transistors with local capacitor banks, and a solid copper enclosure with a copper, compact-laminate, and titanium bottom-plate sandwich construction. Its noise-reduction system includes 182 active Tesla coils, 411 active square Tesla coils, 18 dither-circuitry sections, 20 active zirconium anti-aerial-resonance Tesla coils, and 4 active zirconium cable anti-aerial-resonance Tesla coils.
