The Aavik P-588 is a power amplifier from Aavik, based on the latest Pascal class D amplifier technology with faster UMAC switching modulation, lower output impedance, and reduced filtering requirements. It uses a power-factor-corrected resonant-mode switching power supply and incorporates active Tesla coils, third-generation analog dither circuitry, and anti-aerial-resonance coil technology for noise reduction. The amplifier provides 2 × 300 W into 8 ohms or 2 × 600 W into 4 ohms, with 0.0028% THD+N at 1 W/1 kHz/8 ohms, 50-ohm output impedance, and dimensions of 440 × 430 × 116 mm.
