Aavik
P-280
The Aavik P-280 is a stereo power amplifier made by Aavik, with outputs of 2 × 300 W into 8 ohms and 2 × 600 W into 4 ohms. It uses Aavik’s UMAC™ switching-amplifier topology with sine-wave PWM modulation, dual mixed-mode feedback, and a resonant-mode sine-wave power supply. The amplifier includes 72 active Tesla coils, 168 active square Tesla coils, 10 dither-circuitry units, and 4 anti-aerial-resonance coils, housed in a natural-based composite cabinet with reduced aluminium use.
