The Aavik M-880 is a mono power amplifier made by Aavik, designed and assembled by Audio Group Denmark in Aalborg, Denmark. It uses a re-engineered Pure Class A output stage with eight output-transistor pairs, delivering 400 W into 8 Ω, 800 W into 4 Ω, and approximately 1,300 W into 2 Ω; distortion is specified as below 0.007% at 10 W, 1 kHz, and 8 Ω. Its technical design includes four 500 W, 20 A power-factor-corrected resonant-mode switching power supplies, a 266 mF local power bank, copper internal shielding, Ansuz noise-rejection technologies, and a wood-based laminate and stainless-steel cabinet base.
