The Børresen Z5 Cryo Edition is a floorstanding loudspeaker made by Børresen Acoustics, with seven driver units: one RP94 ribbon planar tweeter, two 5-inch bass/midrange drivers, and four 8-inch bass/midrange drivers. Its bass/midrange diaphragms use two thin carbon layers surrounding a 4 mm Nomex honeycomb core, while the drivers use an 8 mm voice coil with 0.06 mH induction; the speaker also incorporates a parallel crossover using components from the 0-series. All metal components receive cryogenic treatment, and the speaker is specified at 25 Hz–50 kHz, 90 dB sensitivity, 4 ohms impedance, and 75 kg weight.
