Rega
Aphelion 2
$5,545 MSRP
The Rega Aphelion 2 is a moving-coil phono cartridge and the fourth generation of Rega’s MC cartridge design. It uses a fine-line-type diamond profile fitted to a boron rod cantilever, with a neodymium magnet and coil hand-wound on an iron cross. The generator is housed in a single-piece black-anodised aluminium body and uses a rhomboid pivot suspension pad for an undamped, low-mass cantilever assembly.
