The Rega Aphelion 2 is a handmade, fourth-generation low-output moving-coil phono cartridge manufactured by Rega in the UK. It uses a graded zero-tolerance black-anodised aluminium body, a boron rod cantilever, a 90-degree-mounted fine-line nude diamond stylus, and an undamped iron micro-cross and coil assembly powered by a neodymium magnet. Specifications include 1.9 g tracking pressure, 100 Ω input-load impedance, 10 Ω output impedance, 350 μV nominal output voltage, ≥10 μV channel balance, ≥−29 dB separation, and 6 g mass.
