Apheta 3
The Rega Apheta 3 is a moving-coil phono cartridge manufactured by Rega. It uses an undamped, ultra-low-mass generator with no tie wire or foam damper, a fine-line nude diamond stylus, a hand-wound coil on an iron micro-cross assembly, a custom neodymium magnet, and a rhomboid cantilever pivot. Its body is machined from a single piece of anodised aluminium and protected by a CAD-designed smoked rigid cover; specifications include 1.9–2.0 g tracking pressure, 100 Ω input load impedance, 10 Ω output impedance, 350 μV nominal output voltage, 6 g mass, and channel separation of ≥ −29 dB.
