The Ortofon MC Cadenza Mono is a true moving-coil mono cartridge designed for playback of mono microgroove vinyl records. It uses a Nude Fine Line stylus with an 8/40 µm stylus radius, a cylindrical aluminium cantilever, and coils wound with 6NX (99.9999%) pure silver wire. Its pins are connected to provide the same signal from both pairs of connecting pins, and its internal construction is shared with the Cadenza Red, with adjustments optimized for mono playback.
