DAC Box RS2
The Pro-Ject Audio Systems DAC Box RS2 is a standalone digital-to-analogue converter with fixed analogue output and full MQA hardware/software support. It uses dual-mono ESS9038Q2M DACs, separate left/right signal paths, a fully balanced circuit design, XMOS multi-core USB processing, and selectable 6922 tube or solid-state output stages. Inputs include asynchronous USB, HDMI I²S, AES/EBU, optical S/PDIF, and coaxial S/PDIF; it supports PCM up to 32-bit/768 kHz and DSD512, and is housed in a silver or black aluminium case.
