The DAC Box RS Final Edition is a digital-to-analog converter by Pro-Ject Audio Systems for digital stereo sources and USB computer audio. It uses two Texas Instruments PCM1792 DAC chips, supports PCM up to 24-bit/192 kHz and DSD128, and provides USB, AES/EBU, optical, coaxial, and I²S inputs with selectable steep or optimum-phase digital filters. Its fully balanced analog circuitry offers switchable ECC88 diamond-selection tube and solid-state Class A output stages, RCA and XLR outputs, a 20 V/3 A external DC power supply, and a full-metal casing available in silver or black.
