The PMG Signature SACD Transport is a disc-based digital transport for SACD, CD, CD-R/CD-RW, and audio-data DVD media, with USB playback for MP3, WMA, AAC, WAV, FLAC, AIFF, ALAC, DSD, and 2xDSD files. Its architecture includes advanced digital lens technology, FPGA signal processing, separate power regulators, a large analog power supply, galvanically isolated output stages, near-field latch placement, and a chassis-within-a-chassis design. Digital outputs comprise I²S for PCM and raw DSD, one RCA coaxial output, two BNC outputs, and two XLR balanced outputs, with the BNC and XLR pairs supporting double-rate DoP when used in tandem.
