The Pro-Ject Audio Systems CD Box DS3 is a CD player designed for Red Book CD-DA playback. It uses a Texas Instruments PCM1796 D/A converter, with one pair of RCA line-level outputs and S/PDIF coaxial and optical digital outputs. Its drive suspension uses three soft isolation points and one hard point connected to the chassis; specifications include 20 Hz–20 kHz frequency response (±0.15 dB), 2 Vrms line output, and dimensions of 206 × 72 × 194 mm (200 mm including sockets).
