The Condor
The Condor is a custom hand-built moving-coil phono cartridge made by A.J. van den Hul. Its design combines elements of The Frog and The Colibri, using a cross-shaped modulator, no front pole, a strong magnet, a three-rubber suspension system, and no mechanical signal transfer to or from the tonearm. Versions use matched-crystal copper or gold wire coils: XC-LO and XG-LO provide 0.25 mV/channel, XC-HO provides 0.55 mV/channel, and XG-HO provides 0.45 mV/channel. The product is discontinued, with repairs available on request.
