The Nova
The Nova is a loudspeaker cable made by Van den Hul for medium- to high-power home, car hi-fi, and PA systems. It uses four separate AWG 8 (8.4 mm²) conductors made from ultra-pure Matched Crystal Oxygen Free Copper with a co-extruded solid-silver layer and a conductive Linear Structured Carbon® layer, plus double shielding and a HULLIFLEX® EHD jacket. The conductors can be paired for twin-lead operation at an effective AWG 5 (16.8 mm²) and 0.0011 Ω/m per lead, or left unpaired for bi-wiring/bi-amping at AWG 8 (8.4 mm²) and 0.0022 Ω/m per lead.
