The Parasound Halo JC3+ is a solid-state phono preamplifier designed by veteran analog designer John Curl, using direct-coupled amplification circuits and FET followers on discrete channel boards. It succeeded the original Halo JC 3 with revised gain and cartridge-loading options, offering fixed 47 kΩ settings for MM cartridges alongside both a fixed 47 kΩ and a continuously variable 50–550 Ω loading option for moving-coil cartridges.
