The MoFi Electronics MasterPhono is an all-analog phono preamplifier for MM and MC cartridges, developed in collaboration with audio engineer Peter Madnick. It uses fully discrete, balanced, servo-controlled, DC-coupled circuitry with passive RIAA equalization, cascaded voltage regulation, and separate power/signal chassis isolation. Configurable features include 40, 50, 60, and 70 dB gain, ten impedance settings plus custom loading, RCA/XLR voltage and current inputs, balanced and single-ended outputs, and trans-impedance dynamic loading.
