The Yggdrasil is a modular digital-to-analog converter made by Schiit Audio, with replaceable input, USB, DSP, and DAC/analog-output boards. Yggdrasil Less is More uses four Texas Instruments DAC8812 16-bit converters, More is Better uses four TI DAC11001B 20-bit converters, and Singular uses a Schiit Singular 7/6 delta-sigma modulator with a Xilinx FPGA, discrete resistor ladder, and Schiit Nexus fully discrete Class A differential output stage. All versions provide balanced XLR and single-ended RCA outputs, Unison USB and digital inputs, a proprietary Analog Devices SHARC-based digital filter, dual transformers, and a 45-watt power draw in a 16 × 13 × 2.875-inch chassis weighing 25 pounds.
