The Ortofon 2MR Black is a phono cartridge made by Ortofon for low-profile turntables, using a housing reduced by 3 mm in height and mounting with two screws without spacers or modifications. It features a Shibata diamond stylus with a slim, highly polished profile, a quad-coil motor system, and split pole pins upgraded with silver-plated copper wire. The cartridge is compatible with all 2M styli.
