Kimber Kable
8TC
Introduced 1985$736 MSRP
Kimber Kable 8TC is a speaker cable originally introduced in 1985 and still in production essentially unchanged in its core design, making it one of the longest-running products in high-end audio cabling. It uses Kimber's patented VariStrand conductor geometry - sixteen individually insulated hyper-pure copper conductors woven into a large-format braid with a counter-wound helix construction intended to cancel electromagnetic interference without a shield. Termination options include bare wire, banana, or spade, applied with nitrogen-assisted hand soldering.
