The KS 3038 sits at the top of Kimber Kable's Select series of loudspeaker cables (aside from the cost-no-object Black Pearl), built entirely from Kimber's finest VariStrand silver conductors arranged in the company's proprietary constrained-matrix geometry ([Positive Feedback](https://positive-feedback.com/Issue22/kimber.htm), [Norman Audio catalog](https://www.normanaudio.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Kimber-Kable-Select-Catalog.pdf)). Made in Ogden, Utah, it is a single-wired design — biwiring requires purchasing two full pairs — and uses Kimber's thick, proprietary damping core compound shared across the Select series.
