Kimber Kable’s NAKED is an audio cable using six uninsulated 24 AWG solid-core copper conductors per channel. Each conductor is plated with a thick palladium layer followed by a thick gold layer for corrosion protection, and the conductors are braided with cotton strands to separate and secure them; the cotton has a stated dielectric constant of 1.3.
