REFERENCE PREAMP
The Nagra Reference PREAMP is an analog preamplifier made by Nagra. It uses two selected and tested E88CC New Old Stock tubes, custom-made capacitors, new-generation high-voltage power supplies generating a 200 V DC grid tension, and a phenolic damping layer inside the top cover. Its dual-chassis power-supply arrangement dedicates one supply to the audio signal section and another to controls, relay switching, and home automation; specifications include input impedance above 50 kΩ, output impedance below 0.2 Ω at −15 dB volume, dynamic range above 150 dB, and dimensions of 438 × 396 × 121 mm.
