Schiit Audio Lyr+ is a headphone amplifier and preamplifier with selectable tube or solid-state gain. It uses a 6SN7 tube for tube-mode voltage gain and depletion-mode MOSFET gain in solid-state mode, with a fully discrete, current-mode, noninverting Coherence™ topology, Continuity™ bipolar output stage, and 64-step relay-ladder volume control. It delivers up to 9.0W RMS per channel into 16 ohms, has a 0.4–0.6 ohm output impedance, two internal power transformers rated at 72VA total, and a 9 × 6 × 2-inch chassis weighing 6 pounds.
