PB17-Ultra R|Evolution
The SVS PB17-Ultra R|Evolution is a front-firing, ported subwoofer with a proprietary 17-inch long-throw driver using dual 8-inch, four-layer bifilar copper-clad aluminum voice coils and a high-excursion suspension. Its STA-2800D amplifier employs dual-mono Class-D topology with eight 60 A/200 V MOSFETs, delivering 2,800 watts RMS continuous power and 6,000+ watts peak dynamic power, under control of a 295 MHz Analog Devices DSP. Triple 4-inch ports with included foam plugs provide Standard, Extended, and Sealed tuning modes, with specified response ranges of 14–220 Hz, 12–220 Hz, and 14–320 Hz ±3 dB respectively.
