Vertere
SG-1 MkII
Designed by former Roksan founder Touraj Moghaddam, the SG-1 MkII is Vertere Acoustics' mid-range tonearm, using a proprietary "Tri-Point Articulated" bearing that the company describes as a halfway house between a unipivot and a conventional gimbal design; it has been reviewed by Hi-Fi News and The Ear as part of Vertere's turntable packages (Hi-Fi News, The Ear). Vertere is a small London-based manufacturer building each tonearm largely in-house with a limited dealer network, positioning the SG-1 as an accessible boutique option relative to the brand's flagship Reference arm.
