Hand-built by Peter Ledermann in the USA, the Sussurro mk II is Soundsmith's flagship fixed-coil (moving iron) cartridge, using the company's ES-series Dynamic Energy Management System (DEMS) with a newly designed moving-iron element that reduces moving mass by roughly 70% versus earlier designs. It is available in a standard stereo configuration or as a dual-coil mono version for an additional charge.
