The Voice

Introduced 2009$3,000 MSRP

The Voice is a high-output moving-iron cartridge hand-built by Soundsmith, the small Peekskill, New York, workshop run by designer Peter Ledermann, using the company's proprietary fixed-coil/moving-iron topology and single-crystal ruby cantilevers made in-house. It sits below Soundsmith's flagship Sussurro line but is still assembled in small numbers by hand with limited-dealer, largely direct-order distribution, and it won Soundsmith a "Product of the Year" nod noted in enthusiast press coverage (Soundsmith, True Audiophile).
