Silvercore
MC Pro
Silvercore is a small German transformer specialist based in Leipzig, hand-winding step-up transformers (and select amplifiers) in low volumes, distributed in the US through a small dealer network (historically including Oswalds Mill Audio). The MC Pro is the top model of Silvercore's three-tier step-up transformer range, using nanocrystalline toroidal cores and switchable 1:10/1:20 turns ratios tailored to specific cartridge families (including EMT and Ortofon SPU special windings), qualifying it as boutique via its small-batch German manufacture and narrow distribution.
