The Benchmark HPA4 is a solid-state, dual-mono reference headphone/line amplifier built around Benchmark's own THX-AAA-888 feed-forward error-correction modules, combining the company's LA4 line amplifier with a high-current headphone stage. It functions equally as a low-distortion headphone amp and as a full-featured analog preamplifier.
