MC A Mono
The Ortofon MC A MONO is a true-mono moving-coil cartridge manufactured by Ortofon, producing a single signal that is directed to both channels. It uses an Ortofon Replicant 100 diamond stylus, a boron cantilever, Aucurum gold-plated 6NX oxygen-free copper coils, a titanium cartridge body made using Selective Laser Melting, and a compact neodymium-magnet generator with a low-magnetic metal-alloy armature. Its generator includes a Field Stabilizing Element for magnetic-field stability, while its Wide Range Damping system uses a platinum disc between two rubber absorbers.
