The Magico A5 is a three-way, five-driver floorstanding loudspeaker and the flagship of the A Series, using a sealed, brushed-black anodized 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum enclosure with internal bracing. Its driver complement comprises a 1.1-inch beryllium-dome tweeter, a 5-inch Gen 8 Nano-Tec aluminum-honeycomb midrange with graphene/carbon-fiber inner and outer layers, and three 9-inch Gen 8 Nano-Tec woofers with graphene/carbon-fiber layers; the crossover uses Magico’s Elliptical Symmetry topology with a 24dB-per-octave Linkwitz-Riley filter and Mundorf M-Resist Ultra foil resistors. Rated at 88dB sensitivity and 4 ohms impedance, it has a 24Hz–50kHz frequency response, recommended amplifier power of 50–1000 watts, dimensions of 10.5 × 44.75 × 14.9 inches, and a weight of 180 pounds per speaker.
